Sweet!

Thank you so much to two great romance authors, Paula Martin and K.E. Saxon, for giving me the Irresistibly Sweet Blog Award!  In return, I need to give 7 facts about myself, nominate 10 other blogs and let them know that I’ve done so.

The 7 facts:

1. I love peanut butter, mayonnaise, banana and lettuce sandwiches.

2. My husband hates them, so I eat them when he’s not around.

3. My favourite story of all time is not actually a romance, but a satire called The Nose, a short story by the nineteenth century Russian writer, Gogol.

4. My favourite story when I was a child was A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett.

4. I love ballet! My favourite one is Manon.

5. I am one part Cherokee (a very small part).

6. I like to go ice-skating in my free time.

7. I once ███ at a ████ (This comment has been censored)

  5. Thanks so much, Katheryn! An honor to get an award from a real writer! I'm pretty much still aspiring myself. I'm new at blogging so I'm not really sure what to do. I need to put seven facts about myself on my own blog and then list ten other blogs, is that right? I'll also be checking out the other ones you have listed here--I'll look forward to that. (And I'm really curious about #7--leave it to a writer to leave us guessing!)

    1. Hi Elaine. Yes, just list 7 things about yourself and 10 other blogs that you'd like to nominate (though I don't think there are any hard and fast rules!) As for #7, I'll leave it to others to fill in the blanks as they see fit!

  6. Congratulations Katheryn. That sandwich is made up of such a strange combination that it could just work!

  7. Great list, but I'm not going to try the sandwich as I hate peanut butter! And I'd love to know what you censored, of course!

    1. My husband hates it too - he just can't see the appeal (though he does like peanuts). Afraid I can't tell you what I censored, as I'd have to censor it again!

  8. Okay, a) I like peanut butter/banana, but the lettuce and mayo addition sounds like pregnancy food, LOL! b) What did you censor! Enquiring Minds NEED To Know! (Email me off post, LOL!)
I love the Little Princess, too (but I first became familiar with the story as a Shirley Temple movie, I think). My favorite story as a kid was probably Green Eggs and Ham (so NOT literary ;)) Hugs to you, Katheryn, you're a true sweetie pie in my book.

  9. I liked Green Eggs and Ham too and read it to my kids when they were little - such a classic! Afraid I can't say what I censored . . .
