Hot New Romance Release by Beverly Preston

I'm a huge fan of romance author, Beverly Preston, and I just love the cover of her new novel, SHAYLA'S STORY. Here's what it's about:

~ People come into your life for a Reason, a Season or a Lifetime ~

A Reason…
Questioning her relationship with a man who worships politics more than her, Shayla Clemmins escapes reality for the seductive sunsets of Greece. There she finds exactly what she didn’t know was missing from her life, but fears she’ll lose him to her past.

A Season...
John Mathews works hard and plays even harder. When he finds a new passion in the sensual warmth of Greece, he discovers that one lust-filled weekend of romance is just not enough.

A Lifetime...
With Shayla’s past catching up to her and an anonymous threat to her future, can she and John make a lifetime together?

It has already hit #1 on Amazon's bestseller charts, as everyone is grabbing a copy of what looks to be a fantastic summer read!

Great Summer Chick Lit! Meet Author, Tracie Banister

Tracie Banister

Today it’s great welcome author Tracie Banister. First, can I ask what your books are about?

My first novel, Blame It on the Fame, tells the story of the five nominees for the Best Actress Oscar from the time they learn about the nomination until the envelope is ripped open and the winner is revealed. Readers get to take a peek behind the velvet curtain and see how the media frenzy surrounding the Oscars affects these five very different women and takes a toll on them both personally and professionally.

My latest release, In Need of Therapy, explores the world of Miami-based psychologist Pilar Alvarez who's struggling to deal with the demands of her patients, her love life, and her crazy, Cuban family.

THE DESERT SHEIKH has won a top award!

Reviews can be nerve-wracking. Will the reader like it? Love it? Hate it? Everyone has different tastes and opinions, and that's good as it makes life more interesting; won't it be boring if we were all the same! However, I don't think any author likes to read a negative review, especially when it can have an impact on what a lot of other readers think. Therefore, when I received an email from the extremely popular site, The Romance Reviews, saying they had just posted a review of The Desert Sheikh, I was a bit nervous about clicking on the link to see it. Luckily, I needn't have worried.  Not only did the reviewer give it 5 stars, but The Desert Sheikh has also been awarded the site's Top Pick!

Here's an excerpt from the review:

This is a fast-paced and exotic tale of true love. I was instantly enraptured by the beautiful imagery and captivating characters. The story is full of twists and turns that will have you on the edge of your seat in anticipation.

For an exciting romance check out THE DESERT SHEIKH trilogy!

You can read the rest of it here.

Thank you Katie Codie, the reviewer from Curse of the Bibliophile, and thank you Romance Reviews!

What inspires a great book? Meet author Jan Ruth

Today it's great to welcome Jan Ruth, author of romantic drama, who has kindly agreed to talk about what inspires her wonderful books.

As a writer I am often asked where I find ideas and inspiration; how do I start to build a whole new world full of make-believe people, and most importantly, just what are they going to do to make themselves so interesting?

I guess you could say, I have around forty years experience of make believe. I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t reading, and writing. After a period of false starts, I realised that the craft itself had to be learnt and that has taken perhaps half of my lifetime to date. I am still learning and evolving, and always looking for new inspiration.
